Think Outside the Box

Once upon a time in America a person could take a soap box and speak their minds under freedom of speech. Then the radio came on the scene, this little box was a great propaganda tool. The TV was even better, the box came into the house, it became the mother, the father, the babysitter .
On many fronts make people feel insecure through images, not following your God given senses.
Now the results are apparent legions of human jellyfish, no backbone to even stand on a soap box, to go through life without one original thought, but on the other hand their is a push back to get back to a true human renaissance, create something beyond the box.

Last Texas BBQ

Ealy Mays is proud of his Texan origins and very often refers to them in his art.
Here you can see, inspired by Leonardo da Vinci's 'Last Supper', the most famous and accomplished Texans of the past century.

Buddy Holly, a pioneer in Rock and Roll music, has replaced Jesus. On his right there sit Waylon Jennings, Scott Joplin, Admiral Chester Nimitz, Jack Johnson and Gene Audrey.
On his left we see Willie Nelson, Lightnin Hopkins, Roy Oberson, Joe Tex, Egar Winters and Steve Ray Vaughn.
