A blossoming collaboration

Probably it comes as no surprise that art and fashion have always had a strong, passionate relationship. Many fashion designers found inspiration in great art pieces, and vice versa. To go along with this idea and to further strengthen the special bond, we created a collaborative boutique, where art and fashion are equally celebrated.
N’Taaya Dream fashion brand and Ealy Mays Atelierare happy to announce their creative partnership, where modern fashion designs meet contemporary paintings. This powerful duo not only wants to advocate the importance of art and fashion in our everyday life, but also draws attention to the rich diversity of society and culture. Both artists take personal approaches to incorporate their fantasies into real life, while presenting them either on canvas or with a piece of fabric.
The creativity doesn’t stop here, Presagio, a writer, a singer, and partner in the N’Taaya Dream project, brings the boutique alive with his groovy tunes every Friday and Saturday.

Seyli Hopes and Presagio have created N’Taaya Dream based on family and experience. Their travels, art studies, and experience empowered them to embrace their talent and express it through various art forms, such as photography, drawing, fashion design, and music. The works are modern and playful filled with social and cultural narratives. Along with their designs, XO Paris Prêt-à-porter is also displaying its practical, yet chic dresses.
The boutique is also a great destination for those contemporary art lovers who are ready to discover some of the precious paintings of Ealy Mays. The American-born, but Paris-based artist is well-known for his expressive and controversial style, carefully infusing ethnic, political, historical, religious, and satirical factors into his work. This man of many talents, a true globetrotter has been living in Paris for the past 18 years and has shown his works at such prestigious museums as the Louvre, Mexico’s Galeria Clave, or New York’s Guggenheim. At the Châtelet boutique, one can get a glimpse of the famous Watermelon-series inspired by his Mexico stay, some of his Dashiki images, and his iconic Mammy series to which he has a strong personal bond.

The boutique is open every day from 11am until 7pm and holds special music events every Friday and Saturday between 6 - 9pm until May 21, 2016.
